Thank you for your interest in the City of Joondalup Libraries’ Children’s Book Week 2026 program.
This form is for registering schools and home-schooled children to attend the event, it contains important information about our sessions

Please read this introduction all the way through before continuing to the registration form. Your accurate responses will help us to ensure a smooth allocation process for our sessions.
By submitting this form, you acknowledge that if allocated a session you will be responsible for transportation from school to the library to attend the session. You also agree to distribute photography consent forms to your students’ parents or guardians on behalf of the City of Joondalup, and to return completed forms to Libraries staff when you attend your session. If you are a school representative registering multiple classes, please complete a separate form for each class.
Please note that our Book Week program is very popular with schools in the City. While we do our best to match every class with its preferred session time and presenter, this is not possible for everyone.
If a school must cancel for any reason, notice of at least seven days prior to the event must be provided.
Registration closes on Monday 25 May 2026. We will make our initial round of offers via email by Monday 8 June 2026.
Thank you for your interest in the City of Joondalup Libraries Children’s Book Week 2026 program. Please read this introduction all the way through before beginning the registration process.
This form is for parents or guardians to register their own children to attend an event. If you know other home-schooled children who would like to attend, please send the link to their parent/guardian.
Please give as much detail as possible when completing the survey. This helps us when allocating sessions. Multiple children registering for the same presenters can be included in the same registration. If you have children who are interested in a different presenter, please complete a separate registration as necessary. Our Children’s Book Week program is very popular with schools within the City, so it may not be possible for us to allocate you a space in your preferred session(s). Thank you for your understanding. We will only offer each student a seat in one session. However, we understand that for some families, siblings outside the recommended age group may need to attend together. Please advise us if this will be the case.
We will contact you by Friday 24 July with the sessions we can offer you. Unless we hear otherwise from you, it is understood that you will attend your allocated sessions. As a courtesy to our library staff and the presenters, please inform us if your children will not be attending a session they have been allocated.
I have read and agree with the above.
