‘
Report for Support‘ aims to connect people experiencing homelessness to support services.
The form allows individuals experiencing homelessness, service providers, businesses and members of our community to report people who may be experiencing homelessness in the City of Joondalup.
These reports helpย theย Cityย identifyย occurrences of people experiencing homelessness in our community andย connect thoseย in-needย withย relevantย support services.ย
How Report for Support works
‘
Report for Support‘ is an online form to notify the City about people who may be experiencing homelessness, or to self-report.
The information is used to refer individuals toย relevant support and response servicesย whoย mayย engage with people andย canย connect them to services.ย
- Referrals are sent to outreach teams to locate, talk with and assess the individual/s.
- The outreach team may then provide referrals to further service providers as well as provide immediate / crisis support if required.
- ‘Report for Support‘ does not provide direct connection with accommodation. It serves as a referral point, connecting individuals experiencing homelessness with relevant support and response services, who deliver outreach and link people sleeping rough to appropriate services.
- Where reports identify no person present, however left belongings, these reports will be referred for further investigation.
